2002 Seasons Greetings from the Petersons
| Hello everyone! We hope 2002 finds you healthy and happy. Eric is now 15 and is in high school. Hes having a hard time adjusting to all the work but hes doing OK. His favorite class is Journalism where works on the school newspaper. Eric would rather be kayaking than studying but thats too bad. Hes working at the climbing gym now, belaying kids at birthday parties. |

| Jay is almost 10 and in 4th grade. He likes school a lot and reading is his favorite subject. He climbs with Dad a lot but would rather be playing video games. Jay has started playing the flute this year. | ||

John is still at Yale (13 years now!) and has started a new project: computer languages for high school students. Hes even been in to lecture to Erics math class. Hes also working a lot with the Ragged Mountain Foundation, which preserves access to a local climbing area. Marti is at home with the kids.
She dabbles in web pages, and has posted Erics school newspaper
online. Search for Lyman Hall Trojan Times. She
continues to make quilts. This year she completed two wall hangings, one
a memorial to a friend, and the other a memorial to September 11, 2001. |

Of course there has been a lot of
traveling. This summer John and Eric kayaked the Rogue River in Oregon.
Everyone visited Denver and on the way back all of us climbed Devils
Tower. |

Grandma and Grandpa Peterson are
doing well. They came out to visit in September and hiked with us in the
Black Hills. Grandmas back is doing OK and nothing seems to slow
her down much.
