My birthday party

I'm 9 now. My party was at Mountain Fun, a rock climbing gym for kids. A lot of people helped out:


My dad. Partys drive him nuts.	Mom helped a lot too!	Micheal climbs with me sometimes. He's fun.	Eric is a climbing maniac. He helped out but he's annoying.

Carsten didn't realize how much work this would be!	Keith took all these cool pictures.	Henrik helped a lot of kids.	Amanda and her mom, Fran, helped with the decorations.

This is Mountain Fun - it's my favorite climbing gym.

This is Gary. He runs the gym and is really nice to us.

Most of the time we climbed the walls. My dad is holding the rope to keep Megan safe. Amanda is using an auto-belay - you climb up and it pulls in the rope for you. If you fall you get slowly lowered down. The heavier you are the faster you go down!

This is the rope ladder. Jaylynn climbed to the top and then we lowered her down. Climbing the ladder is harder than it looks! There is a big bell on the top that you can ring. Everyone cheers when someone gets to the top.

This is the net. It's pretty hard to climb. It wiggles around a lot. There's a jingly bell on the top.
